The Nigerian Navy Personnel on Tuesday neutralized a suspected member of the IPOB/ESN group and arrested four others at Uga Junction, Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State.
Credible intelligence reports that the incident occurred around 3.30 when the Navy personnel responded to the sporadic shootings of suspected members of the IPOB/ESN group near the Navy checkpoint.
Items recovered include Nissan SUV with Anambra registration number, GGD 392 RZ.
Others are two locally made pistols, two machetes, two hammers and nine GSM handsets.
The arrested suspects and the recovered items have been handed over to the custody of the Nigeria Navy outpost, Ogbaru LGA in Anambra State.
