Navy to Hold 2021 CNS Conference Sept 1-4th

The Nigerian Navy will be holding its annual Chief of Naval Staff Annual Conference 2021 between 1st and 4th September, 2021.
The conference is aimed at curbing maritime crimes in the country and fashion out ways the resolutions at the forum will transform the Navy into a more dependable Force in line with the nation’s aspiration.
The theme of this year’s CNS Conference is "Enhancing Nigeria's Maritime Security for Improved National Prosperity".

 

The Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo will be the Chief Host of the one-week event which will take place in the prestigious city of Kano.

The nation’s maritime interests are threatened by various insecurity instances especially piracy, illegal bunkering, crude oil theft, illegal fishing and proliferation of small arms.
It is believed that the conference will proffer possible solutions to these challenges.
