Alleged Kaduna Crash: Nigerian Air Force Reacts

The Nigerian Air Force has been notified of a media publication that a Nigerian military “Alpha jet” aircraft has reportedly crashed and gone down in Kaduna state.

The report also said, the fighter jet left Yola, the Adamawa capital, on Sunday morning to go clear bandits.

The Nigerian Airforce said on Sunday that it has not been briefed by any if it’s formation that one of it’s Alpha jets crashed in Kaduna as being circulated in the social media.

NAF Director of Public Relations, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet said NAF HQ has not received any operational report of crash of it’s aircraft and that no alpha jet left Yola for Kaduna.

The military has recorded a number of crashes in 2021.
