The Nigerian Army has announced a new date for the passing out Parade of its 80 Regular Recruits Intake into the Nigerian Army.
In a press statement on Tuesday signed by Assistant Director Public Relations, Capt. Audu Arigu and made available to Defence Correspondents, Depot Nigerian Army has set a new date for Saturday 29 May 2021 at the RSM Hama Kim Parade Ground by 0800Hrs (8:00am) Nigerian Time.
SpyeTV reports that the event which was scheduled to hold on Saturday 22 May 2021 was postponed due to the ill-fated plane crash that claimed the lives of the COAS who supposed to be the Reviewing Officer/Special Guest of Honour and ten (10) others on the evening of Friday 21 May 2021.
Passing-Out-Parade is one of the series of activities lined up to mark the end of the rigorous training involved in the process of making a soldier.
It is the climax of Recruits intensive training in Depot Nigerian Army.
The ceremony showcases the height of military discipline and regimentation.
