The winner of last year’s BBNaija reality show, Agbelese Olamilekan, aka Laycon, has been decorated with a traditional title.
Laycon was recently installed as the Akeweje of Ipokia kingdom, in Ogun State.
The Onipokia of Ipokia, Oba Yisa Adesola Olaniyan in a recent ceremony, described Laycon as a good ambassador of Ipokia and a positive inspiration to all Nigerian youths.
After spending a total of 70 days in the Big Brother Naija lockdown house,Laycon defeated Nengi, Vee, Neo, and Dorothy to clinch the ultimate prize of N85 million.
Laycon, in the last days of 2020, had disclosed plans to release his debut album in 2021.
He told his teeming fans during his GOtv Iconic tour in Uyo, Akwa Ibom and also, during a meet and greet session at the Ebong Uko hall, Monty Suites, he dropped the news, making many of his fans go wild with excitement.
Laycon, an indigene of Abeokuta in Ogun state, has been packing commendations since coming tops as winner of the fifth edition of the reality TV show.
The Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun, had empowered him with a political position in his government, even as he also gave Laycon a house in the heart of Abeokuta.
