Tattoos have been around for many centuries, but the new craze isn't for the intricate designs or slogans we might be used to - it's for BLACKOUT body art.
The unusual step to paint large sections of the body is all the rage, with arms and legs featuring large swathes of black 'paint' on the skin.
The body modification has been shared widely online, with many being inspired to get their own blackout artwork after seeing that of others.
Linjojo'z has thrown herself into the trend, sharing images online.
The Singapore native initially used the technique to cover up other tattoos, but now her chest and right arm are tattooed completely black
She posted the above image of a scalloped 'neckline' and a rose on her hand done by Chester at Oracle Tattoo in Singapore.
And it's been popular , with more than 6,000 likes on Instagram .
On the topic of blacking out her other arm, she says she won't: "I am happy with the way my tattoos look now!' she wrote on Instagram.
Chester has also showcased solid black leg tattoos and full leg and arm pieces.
