Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has appointed Yanju Adegbite as the Project Director of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS).
This is contained in a statement issued on Sunday in Ibadan by Yomi Layinka, the Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy to the Governor.
The statement said that Adegbite’s appointment was in the furtherance of the governor's quest to turn around the fortunes of the state-owned radio and television stations.
``Adegbite is an accomplished broadcaster with many years experience.
``He was a former Chief Executive Officer of the BCOS until May 29, 2015,’’ the statement said.
The statement said that the appointment takes immediate effect.
