In order to put an end to the social media drama going on between both families, they decided to sign a peace accord agreement at the office of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking In Person (NAPTIP), on Wednesday, January 6, in Lagos.

According to Vanguard, Davido, who was recently hospitalized due to stress, declined to comment on the outcome of his visit to the NAPTIP office, insisting that it was a family affair and a personal problem.
Still on the issue, a NAPTIP official also disclosed that investigations are still ongoing as both parents are giving them their full cooperation in order to make the best decision for the child’s future.
In a statement released by the Human  Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA), Vanguard reports that the body urged both families to put away their words by making use of a more constructive and private medium to voice out their issues so as to find a lasting resolution and edify the constitutional dignity and rights of the baby.
HURIWA said: “We have observed with considerable trepidation and disappointment the media brickbats and unnecessary spat between the highly successful celebrity musical performer known by his stage name of Davido and the high profile publisher and respected columnist/political activist, Chief Dele Momodu, over a child’s custody disagreement involving the musician; his erstwhile female companion Ms Sophie, who is reportedly the cousin to Dele Momodu over a child, little baby of seven months, called Imade.”
At the early hours of Wednesday morning, January 6, the music star Davido was discharged from an undisclosed hospital in Lagos, after a brief illness.
