Ooni-designate, Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has spent his second day in Ilofi as the traditional installations rites continues with top Ife chiefs in attendance.
According to a report by Vangaurd Newspaper, members of Isoro cult have barred visitors from paying visit to Ogunwusi as he continues with his 21 days rites in Ilofi, where a would-be Ooni is prepared for the journey ahead.
The report further highlighted that though Ogunwusi was ushered into Ilofi, on Thursday, October 29, 2015, traditional rites only entered full swing on Friday, October 30, 2015.
There are multiple reports that Iremo area of Ile-Ife, where Ilofi is situated has witnessed heavy presence of security details.
The erstwhile, Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade passed away on July 28, 2015 leaving Ogunwusi as the throne designate after several consultations by the chiefs.
Ogunwusi's candidacy was announced to the public by the Osun State government on Monday, October 26, 2015.
