Ondo Court Jails Killers Of Former FUTA VC, Prof. Ilemobade


A chief magistrate court sitting in Akure, Ondo
state, on Wednesday, July 1, jailed the two
suspected killers of former Vice Chancellor of
FUTA, Professor Albert Adeoye Ilemobade.
In a report published on Sahara Reporters, the
two suspects were both arraigned before Chief
Magistrate, Mrs. Victoria Bob-Manuel and were
charged of robbery, murder, and conspiracy.

The first suspect, Daniel Ita, was a security
guard, and the second, Olayemi Bamitale, was
a former driver to the late Professor of
Veterinary Medicine.
It was gathered that the Chief magistrate,
Victoria Bob-Manuel passed her verdict
despite the suspects’ plea and tears during the
court proceedings.

Speaking during the court proceedings, police
prosecutor, Isah Atanegbe, explained to the
court how the accused carried out their
murderous acts.
