It’s a boy for Terrence Howard and his wife, Mira!
A huge congrats goes out to the ‘Empire’ star as he
enters the role of fatherhood for the fourth time.
Mira gave birth four weeks ago to the couple’s
first child!
So exciting! While Terrence Howard , 46, was at the Monte
Carlo TV Festival in Monaco promoting Empire , the actor
broke the exciting news about his wife, Miranda Howard,
giving birth to their new child. While many celebrities choose
unique baby names , Terrence and Mira also went down that
path. Find out what name the two chose for their baby boy!
Qirin Love it is! While you may be scratching your head at
the name, the meaning behind it is quite adorable. The name
comes from Chinese culture and represents a mythical
creature (qilin) that is said to be a good omen. While
Terrence was at the TV festival, he couldn’t help but gush
about the latest addition to his family. “He’s beautiful and
strong and a whirlwind and my wife is so happy. She has to
be up with him all throughout the day, Terrence told Access
Hollywood , while joking, “I wasn’t born with boobs, I’ve
started growing some recently.”
With newborns, it can be an exhausting time filled with a lot
of new responsibility. Luckily for Terrence, this isn’t his first
time taking on the extra father duties. “I pull night duty, so
that she can sleep,” he explained. “I keep him with me and
will take some of the pre-pumped, you know, breast cheese,
whatever you want to call it.” Nice, Terrence!
When it comes to the actor’s other children, his daughters
Aubrey and Heaven and son Hunter , were from his previous
marriage to Lori McCommas, which came to an end in 2007.
