The Inauguration process has just been concluded and the
outgoing First lady, Patience Jonathan was no where to be
found. President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan handed over to
Muhammadu Buhari at the Eagle Square venue of the
Presidential Inauguration about 10 minutes ago and there is
no sign that Patience Jonathan attended the event.
She is not seated next to him, was not spotted arriving the
event with Jonathan or anywhere at the venue.
According to reports, Patience is not enthusiastic about her
husband’s plan to resettle at his country home in Otuoke ,
Bayelsa State, after the inauguration ceremony for the
President-elect.
President Jonathan yesterday, May 28, showed the
presidential villa to the president-elect before officially
presenting his handover notes to Buhari.
