CARELESS WHISPER: 

"Careless Whisper" is a 1984 single by George Michael (credited to "Wham! featuring George Michael" in Japan, Canada and the United States), released by Epic Records in the United Kingdom, Japan, and other countries; and by Columbia Records in North America. The song was George Michael's first solo single although he was still performing in Wham! at the time (the song is included on Wham!'s album Make It Big). The song features a prominent saxophone riff, and has been covered by a number of artists since its first release. It was released as a single and became a huge commercial success on both sides of the Atlantic. It reached number one in nearly 25 countries, selling about six million copies worldwide.
SOUL PROVIDER:

Soul Provider is the sixth studio album by American recording artist Michael Bolton. The album was released on June 19, 1989 by Columbia Records. This was the album that turned Bolton into a superstar. Supported by five top 40 hits (including three that reached the top 10), Soul Provider achieved longevity on the charts. The album spent almost four years on the Billboard 200 and peaked at #3.It was awarded 6x Platinum in the U.S. and sold over 12,500,000 copies worldwide.
For the single version of "Georgia on My Mind" CBS edited out Michael Brecker's saxophone solo and replaced it with one by Kenny G.
JUST ONCE:

 "Just Once" is a 1981 single released from Quincy Jones' album The Dude on A&M Records. The song features James Ingram on vocals, and reached number 17 on the Billboard chart in the summer of 1981. On a television program interview, Ingram stated that this song was a $50 demo done by ATV Music, composed by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil. Quincy Jones called back and wanted Ingram to sing on his album.The song is composed originally in the key of C major. The bridge modulates to the key of A flat major, moves to B major, and finally ends in D major.
The song featured in the 1982 film The Last American Virgin.
 DIDN'T WE ALMOST HAVE IT ALL:

"Didn't We Almost Have It All" is the second single from Whitney Houston's second album Whitney. The song was written by Michael Masser and Will Jennings and was released in August 1987. It received a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year.
Originally, another song was to be released as the second single, "For the Love of You," but Arista Records decided to release "Didn't We Almost Have It All" instead because all Houston's singles had to be original material at this point of her career.
The single was number one for two weeks on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart even though there was not a video for the song. A live performance of the song recorded during Houston's successful 1987–1988 Moment of Truth World Tour was played on MTV, VH1, and BET. The performance is from her September 2, 1987 concert in Saratoga Springs, New York. The recorded performance was also televised along with her performance of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" at the 1987 MTV Video Music Awards on September 11. It was widely speculated that the song is about Houston's relationship with then NFL star Randall Cunningham.
TELL HIM:

"Tell Him" is a duet between Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion. It was released on November 3, 1997 as the first single from Dion's Let's Talk About Love and Streisand's Higher Ground albums.
On March 24, 1997 Dion became the first artist ever to perform twice on the same Academy Awards night. In addition to singing "Because You Loved Me," she also sang "I Finally Found Someone" from the movie The Mirror Has Two Faces, recorded by Barbra Streisand and Bryan Adams. Streisand preferred not to perform that night and Natalie Cole had been scheduled to sing her song instead. But Cole pulled out and two days before the Oscar night, Dion was asked if she could do it. Although nervous, she accepted and managed to perform on the night.
