The two leading candidates have signed another peace
accord.They signed the document under the supervision of
Abdusalami shortly after emerging from a closed door
meeting.
President Goodluck Jonathan is currently meeting behind
closed doors with the presidential candidate of the All
Progressives Congress, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).The
meeting brokered by the National Peace Committee for the
2015 General Elections, led by Gen. Abdusalami Abdusalami
(retd.), is meant to extract commitment from the leading
candidates that the forthcoming elections will be violence-
free.The two candidates may sign another peace accord at
the end of the meeting.They were accompanied to the meeting
by the national chairmen of their parties.
