Ghanaian hip hop act, Pappy Kojo has said losing his
girlfriend is one of the setbacks he had before finding fame in
the music industry.
The rapper, who described himself as a shy person, was
recently on TLNCS show where he disclosed he is always
dumbfounded whenever he founds himself around girls
‘I’m a shy person and I wouldn’t know what to say next after
exchanging pleasantries. I know I’m the Realer No but if I’m
around beautiful girls I’m left dumbfounded.’
When speaking on his past relationship, the star said he was
left heart broken before he became known as revealed in the
story in his recently release song, ‘Ay3.’
‘My girlfriend dumbed me when I was a nobody, and that’s
what the song ‘Ay3′ Late is all about. That’s the whole story
in that record, I had nothing, I was a struggling rapper, I lost
my job and so she dumped me.
But Pappy, tipped as the next big thing in Ghana’s hip pop,
said that is not the end of the story.
‘But after I made ‘Realer No’ and ‘Wave’ with Joey, she tried
to get back but I told her it was too late,’ he added.
