The Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in Adamawa State, Reverend Hakila Yerima, is dead.
Hakila who intends to rule Adamawa died on the 6th of January, 2015 of a liver related disease after picking the party’s governorship ticket on the 6th of December, 2014.
He however wrote the party few days to his death of his intention of withdrawing from the race due to failing health before passing away few days after the letter.
