Hollywood Actress and UN Ambassador, Angelina Jolie has rebuked the various attacks by the terrorist group, Boko haram in Nigeria.
She made this know in a statement released yesterday, the 13th of January.
“Each new crime committed by Boko Haram exceeds the last in brutality. This is a direct consequence of the environment of total impunity in which Boko Haram operates.She also stated in the release how the terror group gain more power on every attack on innocent lives in the country. “. Every time they get away with mass murder, rape and the enslavement of women and children, they are emboldened.”
Finally, she pleaded for support from the United StateS government and the rest of the international bodies to join hands in fighting the vicious group in order to stop the killing in the country. “Bring the perpetrators of these attacks to justice”.Similarly, Nicki Minaj, the American hip hop artiste and Solange Knowles Sister to the ‘drunk in love’ diva, beyonce earlier this week also took to twitter to express their heartfelt sympathy to Nigeria
