The Assistant Editor of The Nation Newspaper, Olatunji Ololade has won the MSD Health and Medical category in the 2014 CNN MultiChoice African Journalist of the Year Awards. He was declared winner of the award at the ceremony held in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on Saturday. Another Nigerian, Obinna Emelike of Business Day Newspaper won the Culture award. Joseph Mathenge, a photo journalist from Kenya won the overall prize of the year for his coverage of West Gate terrorist attack in Nairobi, Kenya.
