Ebola Virus: After 3 weeks of Summer School: Ondo State govt cancels summer lessons ( Late Awareness)

I described this as too late. When the schools have already made their money from the working class parents the Ondo State, the state government yesterday cancelled summer school lessons going on in different parts of the state.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Education, Mr Steve Awosika, in Akure.
The statement advised parents, principals, head teachers and proprietors of private schools to comply with the directive.
It explained that the directive was in compliance with that of the Federal Ministry of Education.
The statement noted that pupils of public, private primary as well as secondary schools are to resume for the new academic session on October 13.
Awosika said that a meeting with stakeholders in the education sector in the state would hold on September 2.
It would be recall that the federal government on Tuesday postponed the resumption date of primary and secondary schools across the country to curtail the spread of the deadly Ebola virus.
