SAD: Chibok Girls May Not Return - Fmr President Olusegun Obasanjo

FORMER president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, in what might be a sad story to the parents and loved ones of the over 200 girls that were abducted from Chibok in Borno State, said some of the missing girls may never return.
The former president, on Thursday, also said he had ways of communicating with the suspected Boko Haram members, but lamented that the government had not permitted him to do so.
Speaking in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Hausa, monitored in Kaduna, on Thursday, the former president said succeeding generations would, perhaps, continue to remember those female students who were abducted by suspected Boko Haram members, adding that only those among the girls who would later get pregnant and find it difficult to cater for the babies in the wild, might be released.
He was of the view that the girls might have been separated and were not kept at the same location.
“I believe some of them will never return. We will still be hearing about them many years from now. Some will  give birth to children of the Boko Haram members, but if they cannot take care of them in the forest, they may be released,” he said.
