Security agents Declared Cold War On journalists

Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Abubakar

Security agencies attached to National Conference, especially those in mufti, have declared a cold war on journalists. They have been acting on flimsy excuses to prevent journalists from accessing the venue of the conference. There was a case that involved a Channels reporter who was denied access by a female security agent with no genuine reasons. Also, at the Nicon Luxury on Wednesday, a security agent approached some journalists with a bid to restrict their movement. According to him, the committees were complaining that the presence of journalists was distracting them. Could this be a fallout of the reported fight between two security agents? Time will tell.
