See President Goodluck Jonathan's 56th Birthday Cake As FEC Celebrates Him

Members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) today celebrated the 56th birthday of President Goodluck Jonathan at the council chambers of the presidential villa.
The brief celebration was done shortly before the commencement of the weekly meeting though the President is in London for the Honorary International Investors' Council (HIIC) meeting.
The Vice President, Namadi Sambo in a brief remark while presiding over the ceremony said it was a privilege to share from the grace of a God upon the President's life.

"We are privileged Nigerians sharing from the grace of God upon his life. There is no doubt the great destiny of this man has helped our individual destinies.
"What can we give him in return. We thank God for his life and also commend him for his guidance protection and the fear of God. We continue to pray that Mr President succeeds with his primary course of transforming our dear country," Sambo said.The Council offered prayers for the President and the nation led by the Ministers of Transport, Senator Idris Umar and Agriculture, Dr Akinwumi Adesina.Led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, the ministers presented a birthday card to the Vice President in representation before cutting the birthday cake.
President Jonathan, the 14th Nigerian Head of State was born Nov. 20, 1957in Otueke, Ogbia Local Government of Bayelsa State to a family of canoe makers. He holds a B.Sc degree in zoology, M.Sc degree in Hydrobiology and Fisheries Biology and a P.Hd degree in Zoology.Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman of Southern Ijaw Local Government Council, Chief Remember P.N Ogbe has also heartily felicitated with the President on his birthday.Chief Ogbe said, under President Jonathan's leadership, "Nigeria has witness real transformation in every sector of our national life and remain strong and individual inline with the dreams of our founding fathers."
