This Award ceremony took place at KS Motel Yemetu Ibadan on Friday 23rd November 2012.
Receiving the Award as the Best Romantic Film of the Year, Bimbo Oshin thanked the organizer of the awards for the special recognition giving to her work ''IGBOYA'' and promised to ditch out more romantic and captivate movie
Speaking with Pyemedia,Wilson Oshin who is also an actor and younger brother to Bimbo Oshin described the movie as the best.
He said, The movie highlights the mistakes of young men, who fall in love with women of their dream and still are not bold enough in taking the bold step of making their love known to the woman of their dream.
Moreover, Bimbo Oshin explains that Igboya is a true life story of a gentleman who is still alive.
Stars in the movie include Muyiwa Ademola, Jide Kosoko, Anta Laniyan, Aishat Abimbola and Oshin-Ibironke herself, it is a film that treats a phenomenon that affects the love life of many men, which even eventually determines the level of fulfillment they have in their marriages. This is the silent but pervasive disease of lack of courage to express their minds to ladies they desire, especially when they meet such 'birds' in unusual places and times.
While the syndrome is at times compounded by procrastination, the victim in Igboya (which translates as 'Boldness') is Ademola (Okikiola), who has a burning passion for his boss in office (Oshin-Ibironke) but cannot express his mind. Handsome and brilliant, he is the right candidate for many ladies, including the boss who, being a woman, cannot make the first move. Lily-livered Okikiola squanders every opportunity and prompting to say, 'I love you'. That is how another man - who, beyond financial capability, is inferior to Okikiola - snatches the woman's heart and eventually takes her to the altar. Okikiola's struggles to fight this reality give the story some galloping twists that will teach many viewers some lessons.
