Troops of the Joint Task Force, Operation ENDURING PEACE, have arrested a suspected fake soldier, identified as Salim Idris, in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State for allegedly impersonating military personnel and causing public disturbance.
The suspect was apprehended by the troops and is currently in custody for further investigation. The arrest is part of ongoing efforts by security forces to maintain law and order and prevent individuals from unlawfully posing as members of the Armed Forces.
The circumstances surrounding the alleged impersonation are expected to be established during the investigation.
