A new batch of 67 Nigerian nationals arrived at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, on Tuesday night aboard a South African Airways flight, in an effort sponsored by good-spirited private individuals.
The returnees were received and addressed by their Coordinator, Mr. Ikem Ume-Ezeoke, alongside Chief Charles Mba, who spoke on behalf of the group that facilitated their return.
As part of efforts to support their reintegration, each of the 67 returnees was presented with an envelope containing N50,000.
The gesture was aimed at providing immediate financial support to the returning Nigerians as they begin the process of settling back into the country.
The return of the 67 nationals adds to ongoing efforts by individuals and groups to assist Nigerians facing difficult circumstances abroad to voluntarily return home and rebuild their lives.
