The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, has issued a stern warning to officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force serving in the Warri Area Command, declaring that there will be no room for impunity or unprofessional conduct under his leadership.
Speaking during a tour of inspection to the Warri Area Command, the Commissioner emphasized the need for officers to uphold the core values of the Force and avoid actions capable of tarnishing its image.
He cautioned personnel against misconduct, abuse of office, extortion, and other unethical practices, stressing that any officer found engaging in acts that dent the reputation of the Nigeria Police Force would face appropriate disciplinary measures.
The CP urged officers to remain disciplined, professional, and committed to delivering quality policing services while respecting the rights of citizens. He noted that public confidence in the Force can only be sustained through integrity, accountability, and adherence to the rule of law.
“There is no room for impunity anymore. Stop denting the image of the Force,” the Commissioner declared, reaffirming the Command’s commitment to discipline, transparency, and effective policing across Delta State.
The inspection tour formed part of the CP’s efforts to assess operational readiness, interact with officers, and reinforce the standards expected of personnel in the discharge of their duties.
