Police sources said the incident was reported at about 2030 hours on June 21 at the Mokwa Division by Alhaji Halulu of Kpautagi Fulani Camp via Takuma.

According to the report, the victim, identified as Tukur Halulu, had taken his cattle out for grazing within the vicinity of their settlement when he was allegedly attacked and beaten into a coma by one Mohammed Jibrin, 25, of the same area.
