The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, on Thursday received members of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Service Commanders at the Force Headquarters in Abuja as part of efforts to strengthen inter-agency collaboration on security in the nation’s capital.
The delegation was led by the Commissioner of Police, Dantawaye Miller, of the FCT Police Command.
Other members of the delegation included Brigadier General Onosanya O.A., Commander of the Guards Brigade; Commodore Oladipo Oluseyi, Commander of Naval Base Abuja; Air Commodore Imoke I.E., Commander of 045 Headquarters Abuja of the Nigerian Air Force; and Adamu Gwari, Director of Security at the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
Also present were Corps Commandant Felix Theman, Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in the FCT; Dauda Usman, Director of the Department of State Services in the FCT; and Dr. Odumosu Olusola, Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Abuja.
The meeting focused on strengthening coordination among security and safety agencies to enhance intelligence sharing, operational synergy, and proactive responses to security challenges within the Federal Capital Territory.
The visit underscores the commitment of security stakeholders to maintaining peace, safety, and stability across Abuja and its environs.
