The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has advised residents of Abuja and Lagos not to panic but to go about their normal activities, as NAF began aerial display rehearsals in both cities as part of preparations for activities marking the 61st Anniversary Celebration of the NAF, scheduled for 23 May 2025.
NAF Spokesperson, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame in a press statement on Monday noted that the rehearsals are carefully planned and executed with strict adherence to safety standards.
"These aerial manoeuvres are designed to enhance the spectacle of the celebration’s grand finale and to demonstrate the professionalism and operational capabilities of the NAF.
"The NAF appreciates your understanding and continued support." he said
