As part of the NAF 61 Anniversary celebration. the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has today, 10th February 2025 announced the maiden edition of Chief of the Air Staff Literary Competition 2025, with the theme, OPTIMIZING CIVIL MILITARY RELATIONS IN A JOINT OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR ENHANCED AIR OPERATIONS 2.
Competition Details: Entry Opens: 10 February 2025 and Submission Deadline: 11 April 2025.
The Nigerian Air Force is inviting Nigerian youths to showcase their intellectual depth, creativity, and strategic thinking!
CAS ESSAY COMPETITION
1. Applicable to tertiary institutions only.
2. Tertiary applicants must be between 18-24 years old.
3. The topic for the essay writeup should be coined from the NAF Day 2025 theme.
4. The length of the essay should not exceed 2,000 words.
5. The essay should be the original thoughts of the writer.
6. Essay must be uploaded to the portal: nafcasic.airforce.mil.ng not later than 11 April 2025.
7. When filling the form, provide a valid phone number and email address the applicant can be reached on.
8. Passport photograph to be uploaded must be 150kb or less in size, and in jpg, jpeg, or png format.
9. Literary file to be uploaded must be IMB or less in size, and in pdf format.
Entry is open to all Nigerian Children/Youths in Primary Schools (Ages 5-11 years), Secondary Schools (Ages 12-17 years) and Tertiary Institutions (Ages 18-24 years)
PRIZES 1ST-N1,000,000, 2ND-N750,000 and 3RD-N500.000
CAS POETRY COMPETITION
1. Applicable to secondary schools only.
2. Secondary applicants must be between 12-17 years old.
3. The poem must have bearing with the NAF Day 2025 theme, and should be original.
4. The length of the poem should not exceed 300 words.
5. The poem must be in English language.
6. Poem must be uploaded to the portal: nafcasic.airforce.mil.ng not later than 11 April 2025,
7. When filling the form, provide a valid phone number and email address the applicant can be reached on.
8. Passport photograph to be uploaded must be 150kb or less in size, and in jpg, jpeg, or png format.
9. Literary file (poem) to be uploaded must be IMB or less in size, and in paf format.
PRIZES to be won are 1ST-N600,000, 2ND-N400,000 and 3RD-N200.000
CAS ART COMPETITION
1. Applicable to primary schools only.
2. Primary applicants must be between 5-11 years old.
3. Art work must have bearing with the NAF Day 2025 theme, original (not to have been published) and limited to only painting and drawing.
4. Art work should be submitted with a short caption or title.
5. The art work should be the original thoughts of the writer.
6. Art work must be uploaded to the portal: nafcasic.airforce.mil.ng not later than 11 April 2025.
7. When filling the form, provide a valid phone number and email address the applicant can be reached on.
8. Passport photograph to be uploaded must be 150kb or less in size,and in jpg, jpeg, or png format.
9. Literary file of art work to be uploaded must be 1MB or less in size, and
