Commander 301 Artillery Regiment Decorates 25 Newly Promoted Soldiers

The Commander 301 Artillery Regiment General Support Colonel Abubakar Mohammed Mohammed has decorated newly promoted soldiers of the regiment, who benefitted from the private to warrant officers with their new badges of rank.

In a statement issued by Captain Mazinho Attah, Assistant Director Public Relations 301 AR (GS) Nigerian Army said the decoration ceremony took place at the regiment training hall today 17 Nov 2024.

According to him, the beneficiary soldiers include;

7 SSGT – WO

1 X SGT – SSGT

3 X BDR – SGT

10 X LBDR – BDR

4 X GNR – LBDR

According to Captain Attah total number of soldiers promoted were twenty five in number, having attended military and civil courses commensurate to their ranks were deemed worthy of promotion after due approval by the Chief of Army Staff.

He maintained that The Comd 301 AR (GS) Colonel Mohammed in his remarks congratulated the newly promoted soldiers.

He admonished them to remain disciplined and worthy ambassadors of the Nigerian Army.

He urged them to build capacity and professional competences while maintaining the core values of loyalty, discipline and integrity among others.

Also speaking, the Regimental Sergeant Major, Nigerian Army Corp of Artillery (NACA) Army Warrant Officer Bello Usman enjoined the newly promoted soldiers to discharge their duties conscientiously, take good care of their families and project a good image of the Nigerian Army.

Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the newly promoted personnel, Warrant Officer Mohammed Kabiru appreciated the Chief of Army Staff for the confidence reposed in them.

He also appreciated the Comd and their various battery Comd for their invaluable contributions.

He promised on behalf of other beneficiaries to live above board while pursuing their career in the service.

In attendance was the Comd 301 Artillery Regiment (General Support) Colonel AM Mohammed, The 2ic Maj TF IBIAMA, Staff officers of the regiment, Soldiers families, invite guest and well wishers.
