NAOWA President, Mrs Lagbaja Takes Mindset and Life Transformation Training Programme to Enugu Barracks

The Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) Mrs Mariya Lagbaja has declared open a two-day Mindset and Life Transformation Training Programme for NASWA members in Enugu State.

The training is part of the five-day working maiden visit of the NAOWA President to 82 Division Chapter of the association and commissioning of some NASWA projects and initiatives.

The projects the NAOWA President inaugurated included: NAOWA College, Enugu and Abakpa Military Cantonment Pre-School (Akara School) Complex.

Lagbaja, who is the wife of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja distributed 1,000 bags of rice and five-litre groundnut oil to residents of the cantonment and 100 bags of rice and five-litre of groundnut oil to 100 teaching and non-teaching staff of NAOWA Group of Schools, Enugu.

Mrs Lagbaja also lauded the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, for her steadfast commitment to women empowerment.

She noted that Her Excellency’s steadfast commitment to women’s empowerment nationwide continues to inspire NAOWA/NASWA to do more for women socioeconomic uplift.

The facilitator, Miss Celina Unogwu who trained Soldiers wives on Mindset Reorientation emphasized that the NAOWA President put the program together in order for members of the association to listen to life changing words that will transformed their mind. She noted that when their minds are renewed, transformed, it is possible for positive growth. 

The Mindset Reorientation Program organised by the wife of the Chief of Army Staff, Mrs Mariya Lagbaja who doubles as the President of Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association, NAOWA was attended by members of NASWA from all the Barracks in Enugu State.
