Edo Election: EFCC Arrests Suspected Vote-Buyers

The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes (EFCC) have arrested some suspected vote-buyers in the ongoing Edo State Governorship election.

The suspects were arrested in the Egor Local Government Area (LGA) of the state around 10:00 am after the pools have opened for the public.

EFCC officials who effected the arrests left the location with three suspects, two males and a female in their waiting cars.

However, some residents of Egor LGA who witnessed the arrest this morning kicked against the arrest, insisting those who were arrested are being victimized.
