The men of the Anambra State Police Command on patrol with Vigilante men in Awka Etiti have arrested one Insugent with arms and ammunition after a gun dual.
According to Force PRO, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi the operation took place in the early hours of today, Tuesday 12th March 2024, as Police at Nnobi, Idemili South LGA, Anambra State, while on patrol with Vigilante men in Awka Etiti engaged insurgents operating with a Toyota Highlander in a shootout.
He note that one of the insurgents was arrested with gunshot wound.
Operatives also reckverd four AK-47 Rifles and 219 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition.
