Army 35 Artillery Brigade Honours Retired/Retiring Officers

The Commander 35 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Mohammed Tajudeen Aminu has on Tuesday, 26 March 2024 organized a special Dinner in honour of Retired/Retiring Officers of 35 Artillery Brigade at the Vulcans Officers’ Mess Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta the Ogun state capital. 

Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Lieutenant Mohammed Goni in a press statement noted that the send off dinner which was in honour of Lieutenant Colonel Don Igwilo (rtd) the former Brigade Acting Chief of Staff who retired 3 months ago after the successful completion of his 35 years military career and Captain Alexander Philemon who will be proceeding on terminal leave to exit the service at the end of 14 years of meritorious service to the Nigerian Army. 

General Aminu while making his remarks hailed the duo for their hardwork, dedication and unwavering commitment to the Nigerian Army and the nation at large. He pray for success, good life and prosperity for the officers in their post retirement years.

Lt Col Don Igwilo (rtd) who delivered the Vote of Thanks onbehalf of the beneficiaries appreciated the Commander for deeming it fit to organize a befitting and well organized dinner in their honor. 

Similarly, he advised especially the young officers to start planning for their retirement early enough so that they will have a good post retirement opportunities and healthy life.

The event was climaxed by presentation of souvenir, gifts and group photographs
