Supporters of the People Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday shutdown Kabba to support the governorship ambition of *Senator Dino Melaye in Kogi 2023 governorship election.
The PDP candidate for Kogi 2023, Dino Melaye while addressing supporters and residents promised to rehabilitate the kabba- Egbe road and explore natural resources for development in Kogi state if elected as the next governor.
Melaye and his deputy, Habibat Deen led the campaign train to Melaye’s senatorial district where he had represented the people in both House of Representatives and the Senate.
One by one the representatives of the groups and political heavyweights gave reasons why the people of Okun Land should support one of their own, Dino Melaye, in November 11 governorship election.
He urged his people in Kogi West to vote massively for PDP during the forthcoming election.
Recall that Dino Melaye commenced his campaign with ward-to-ward mobilization before official flag-off in Okene on Tuesday.
