Barely 24 hours after the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen. Christopher Musa pledged an automatic promotion to a higher rank in the military for troops in the front line to decimate Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists, bandits, and other criminal elements the Nigerian Military troops today, 11th Ocotber 2023 recorded a massive win after the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Airstrikes neutralized over 100 Terrorists on mass movement and their bodies burnt beyond recognition in Zamfara State. The battle damage assessment was recorded accurately.
Recall CDS said on Tuesday while addressing over 1,000 soldiers at the Headquarters Theatre Command Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), Maimalari Cantonment Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, "Besides capturing a terrorist for promotion, the welfare of troops is accorded priority, including rotational leave every two years to meet their families."
