The PCRC Kano State has on Friday joined the Kano State Police Command to welcome the Acting Inspector General of Police, Ag IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun to Kano State.
Egbetokun who is on a working visit to all Poloce commands, units and formations arrived Kano amidst heavy heavy security.
The National Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan, was ably represented by the Asst. National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Sale, joined the number 1 PCRC member in Kano State Comrade Ali Hassan T. Bayero to welcome the number 1 Police Officer in Nigeria.
Receiving the Acting IGP, the PCRC National Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan ably represented said, "Today we are celebrating and showing little appreciation for the policy and system you introduced in the police force since your assumption to office.
“Its over 55 days sinxe your assumption to office and we pledged our unalloyed support as friends of Nigeria Police Force. We partnered with your predecessor IGP Usman Alkali Baba and he made us to know that we are human beings, he made the world to know PCRC.
Comrade Kunle Sodipo said the Ag. IGP Olukayode Egbetokun was received at the Kano State Police Command Headquarters by the CP Kano State, the PCRC National/Kano State Leadership, and other Stakeholders.
Also, at the reception are other Kano State PCRC Executive Members and the Asst. National Welfare Secretary of the National Youths Committee, Aisha Ibrahim Idris.
Meanwhile, the Acting Inspector General of Police, Ag. IGP Egbetokun proceeded to pay homage to the Emir of Kano Alh Ado Bayero, CFR, and also attended the passong out parade of Regular Course 5 POP in Police Academy Kano, on Friday.
