IGP Egbetokun Assures NCCSALW Of Continued Collaboration to Rid Nigeria of Illicit Firearms


The Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has assured the assured the National Center for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons Management (NCCSALW) of continued collaboration in the efforts to rid the Nation of illicit firearms and promote public safety and security.

The IGP made this known when he received the National Coordinator, Maj. Gen. AM Dikko (rtd) and management team of the National Center for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW), at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, today August 17, 2023.

The Coordinator commended the Police for the tremendous support it provides the NCCSALW in the execution of it's mandate. 

The IGP while noting that the visit has opened 
new vista in the relationship currently existing between the NPF and the Center, assured the NCCSALW of continued collaboration in the efforts to rid the Nation of illicit firearms and promote public safety and security.
