NADCEL 2023: Over 2000 Niger Residents Benefit From Medical Care by Army 31 Artillery Brigade

Over 2000 residents of Pogo Community in Paikoro LGA of Niger State have benefited from the Headquarters 31 Artillery Brigade Minna Medical Outreach

The brigade also offered a free medical consultation with specialist.

Residents comprising old men and women , boys , girls and children were treated of various illnesses such as malaria, typhoid fever while others were given drugs for other medical issues such as high blood pressure and high sugar level.

Speaking to SpyeTV correspondent, on the sidelines of the medical outreach, Commander 31 Artillery Brigade, Brig Gen HD Bobbo, the gesture is part of the usual tradition of the Military to offer humanitarian services for the civilian population with a view to fostering Civil-Military relation and cooperation.

He said the Nigeria Army apart from carrying out military operations also has military civilian relationship where medical services 

Brig Gen HD Bobbosaid the medical outreach offered to the community is part of the Nigerian Army day celebration which took place in all units and formations nationwide. 

“Our medical personnel as you can see have attended to many of the residents with different medical issues. You can see old men and women, boys and girls and children being attended to by our medical personnel. You can also see the expression on the faces of the beneficiaries they are all smiling and happy with what we have done,” he said.

Some of the beneficiaries of the medical outreach expressed joy that they were treated of various illnesses and given prescription drugs.

The Exercise which was hitch free featured General Medical Consultation, BP and Sugar Test as well as Free Administration of Drugs.
