Mmesoma Ejikeme Finally Confessed to Scored 249 not 362 in UTME, As House Rep To Probe Results’ Forgery Allegation

Ejikeme Mmesoma, the student alleged to have a fake Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result, has finally confessed she scored 249.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had in a statement issued by its spokesman, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, accused the student of forging her result, but Mmesoma stood her ground that she scored 362 out of the total mark of 400.

She admitted while appearing with her father, on a national television program l, on Wednesday, Mmesoma said she ought not to be blamed for the controversy.

Meanwhile the House of Representatives, the lower chamber of the National Assembly, will set up an ad hoc committee to investigate allegations of manipulation of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result levelled against Anambra State candidate, Ejikeme Mmesoma. 

The House confirmed this on Wednesday, as the committee would begin probe on the sundry allegations against the schoolgirl by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). SaharaReporters had on Tuesday reported that JAMB barred Ejikeme for three years over alleged forgery of UTME results.
