Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji, a component of the military in Zamfara State have successfully rescued ten farmers abducted by armed bandits in Tsafe Local Government Area of the State
Reports say the kidnapped victims were abducted on the 6th of June, 2023 while working on their farms, pointing out that the victims who are mainly male adults spent seven days in the den of bandits.
A press statement from authorities of Operation Hadarin Daji pointed out that the bandits abandoned the victims in the bush on sighting the troops approaching their enclaves.
The rescued victims revealed that the terrorists fled and abandoned them when they heard that troops were closing in on them.
Victims were admitted at the General Hospital in Tsafe for treatment after which they were reunited with their families.
