Troops of Joint Task Force (North West) Operation Hadarin Daji have recorded another major feat in ongoing Counter Terrorism operations in the North West region by neutralizing several terrorists following another aggressive clearance operation on 19th May 2023.
This was disclosed to the Youths Against Terrorism and Banditry (YATAB) Network by a credible intelligence source familiar with the ongoing operation.
According to the source, "the combat force cleared several terrorists camps at Dawan Jiya and Tungar Daji under Bagega District of Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
"During the raid, troops encountered fierce resistance from the terrorists, but successfully neutralized many of them while others fled with severe gun shot wounds"
"Troops recovered 3 AK 47 rifles, some magazines, a locally-made pistol and one Dane gun, amongst other items.
The success is the latest in a line of impressive successes recorded by the troops of OPHD in recent times.
