PSC Calls For Deliberate Government Policy to Improve Children Development

The Police Service Commission, Solomon Arase, former Inspector General of Police, has said that there is need for a deliberate government policy to improve the lots of Nigerian children especially in the face of the global economic meltdown.

Arase's call was contained in a statement signed by Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani on Saturday in commemoration of Children's Day message.

He felicitates with Nigerian Children as they celebrate their day, stressing that they deserve to be handled with a lot of care as they are the most vital asset of our nation.

He noted that our sweat for our children today "is a promise for a better tomorrow" adding that we must of necessity invest on our children to reap the benefits of a rapid national growth.

He wishes Nigerian Children especially the Children of the Staff of the Police Service Commission and the Nigeria Police Force, a rewarding celebration.

The PSC Chairman prays that the innocence and promise of our children should feel our homes and heart with happiness and fond memories to cherish forever.
