Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have recorded another major feat in the ongoing counter terrorism operations in the North West zone of the country as they have rescued 10 hitherto kidnapped persons from camps of the notorious terrorist kingpin, Bello Turji.
A credible and infallible intelligence source disclosed to the YATAB Network, an NGO focused on the anti terrorism and anti banditry campaign in Africa, that the feat was recorded during a massive clearance operation within Magarya and Dusti general area of Zamfara State.
According to the source, troops stormed terrorists hideouts at Keta, Gidan Galadima, Modawa, Mazuwa and Dutsi Villages respectively, belonging to the infamous Turji, during which they were met with stiff resistance by the terrorists.
Troops met with fierce resistance at at Keta and Dutsi camp, the major stronghold of the terrorist kingpin. However, the gallant troops overwhelmed and tactically overran the camps with aggressive firepower, forcing the terrorists to beat a hasty retreat into the forest, many with fatal bullet injuries.
