Troops of Joint Task Force, Operation HADARIN DAJI in the North West zone of the country have sustained aggressive posture towards the fight against terrorists, kidnapping, banditry and other criminal activities in the general areas of operations.
SpyeTV News reports that, troops of Operation Hadarin deployed for Operation Forest Sanity have successfully neutralized one terrorist and fatally injured several others following an ambush operation at one of the terrorists crossing points in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
This was disclosed to the YATAB Network by an infallible intelligence source familiar with the development.
The source informed the YATAB Network, an NGO focused on the anti-terrorism and anti-banditry campaign in Africa that, "at about 1130 hrs (11:30am) on 17th April 2023, troops of Forward Operating Base Anka deployed for Operation Forest Sanity conducted an ambush operation at an identified terrorists crossing point at Tungar Mai Rakuma village under Anka LGA of Zamfara State, following actionable intelligence reports on their presence in the vicinity."
