Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji in the early hours of Wednesday 15th March 2023, neutralized no fewer than 40 terrorists following an aggressively conducted clearance operation around Kamarawa 1 & 2, Kagara, Dan Gwandi, Zango Kamarawa, Tseika, Gidan Fadama, Gebo, Bafarawa, Malamawa, Makwa Ruwa and Gangara general areas in Sokoto State.
The gallant troops, adopting highly tactical maneuvers, frontally engaged the terrorists, many of whom scampered for dear life. The determined and resilient troops however pursued the fleeing terrorists, inflicting maximum casualty. In the course of the Operation, Several terrorists' camps were also destroyed while no fewer than 25 motorcycles were destroyed Insitu by the gallant troops.
Additionally, troops recovered 1 Rocket Propelled Grenade gun, 1 PKT rifle, 11 PKT Magazines, 3 AK 47 rifles and 1 civilian police smoke gun, amongst others.
