The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Sunday Zaka is reportedly dead.
SPYE TV News learned that Zaka died at about 3 am on Saturday following a fatal accident while on his way to his residence in Kuje.
He died alongside his personal security after some party activities in the FCT.
Michael Kpatuba, a member of the Directorate of Media under the office of the Director-General FCT Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for the 2023 Elections, confirmed the PDP Chairman's demise via a Facebook post.
Kpatuba wrote: "You left earlier today (Saturday) around 3 am to your home town Kuje as the time draws closer to voting, we received a sudden and shocking news about your accident.
"Yea, you died alongside your Personal Security.
"This is so shocking and still finding it difficult to say goodbye Sir.
"Remembering the jokes we cracked before you left.
"Dying Election day is really heartbroken to the FCT, PDP Family.
"Rest in peace, Hon Zaka Sunday, FCT PDP Chairman."
