As part of the Commitment of the Hon. Chairman INEC Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and his team to conduct a hitch free exercise in the forthcoming 2023 election, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has INEC Mock Accreditation exercise Nationwide.
SpyeTV News correspondents who monitored the movement of the accreditation materials, such as Bimodal Voter Accreditation System BVAS machines, Voter register,banners, PVCs, papers and other items to the designated polling units within FCT and 36 States and the BVAS machine performance quite very impressive.
The mock accreditation began at exactly 8.00am. Early voters who came for the accreditation, spent less two minutes to complete the process.

Millions of registered voters have been accredited and dismissed as they went back home with huge anxiety for the 25th February.
Polling unit officers they further said that the BVAS machine works faster with the facial capturing than finger capturing.
Speaking to the INEC Chairman when he went round Abuja Area Council, Professor Mahmood Yakubu said he is optimistic on the performance of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) and that the objective of INEC wants to achieved in the ongoing mock accreditation is to ensure the machines are working optimally before the main election date.
“We have identified 437 polling units nationwide to test run the BVAS machines. This is on the basis of two for Senatorial District and four for each Local Government Areas while all in all per a state is 16.
“We are happy to see voters been accredited and authenticated with the INEC BVAS machines working accurately.
“There is no problem of any kind in the two Area Councils I have visited. Again, the results we are getting from the exercise nationwide gave us joy and hope that every is going on well.
“Our staffs are on ground to attend to any machine failure in case of unforseen circumstances but thank God, we have not heard of any failure so far”, he said.
