Nigerian Rap artiste Panshak Henry Zamani best known as Ice Prince has been remanded in correctional center by Magistrate Court 1, Ajah.
Ice Prince was arraigned before Magistrate T. F. Oyeniyi of the Magistrate Court 1, Ajah, following his arrest.
He was arraigned for charges bordering on assault, obstruction and abduction.
He has however denied the charges.
SpyeTV News gathered that, Iceprince was apprehended by mobile police after discovering he was driving a Car without a license plate.
Confirming the report, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police (SP) Benjamin Hundeyin said the musician has been arrested and would be arraigned today (Friday)
“At about 3a.m Ice Prince was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station,” Hundeyin tweeted.
“He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him, and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”
The court however granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 and asked to provide two responsible sureties.
Further hearing has been adjourned till September 7, 2022.
